1. Overview & Acceptance

These Affiliate Program Terms & Requirements ("Terms") govern your participation in the Sports Gear Swag Affiliate Program ("Program"). By submitting an application, receiving an affiliate code or tracking link, promoting Sports Gear Swag ("we," "our," or "us"), or earning commissions, you ("Affiliate," "Partner," or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and our general Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility & Application

The Program is designed for sports coaches, trainers, athletes, sports influencers, fitness and athletic content creators, club organizers, team managers, and sports organizations who have an authentic audience and passion for custom sports apparel.

To participate, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or have verified parental/guardian consent).
• Submit a completed application via our Affiliate Program Registration page.
• Maintain active, public social media accounts or sports web properties that align with our brand standards.
• Operate in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and advertising guidelines.

Sports Gear Swag reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.

3. Onboarding Flow & Program Materials

Our onboarding workflow is designed to get you active and earning quickly:

1. Application: Complete and submit your online affiliate application.
2. Review & Approval: Applications are typically reviewed within 1–3 business hours.
3. Unique Code & Link Issuance: Once approved, our team issues your unique custom coupon code and trackable referral link.
4. Welcome Packet: You will receive our Affiliate Welcome Packet containing brand guidelines, logos, promotional suggestions, and content expectations.
5. Launch & Earn: Share your code, post your initial reel within 7 days to unlock your $25 welcome bonus, and begin earning commissions.

4. Promotional Welcome Offer: $25 Instant Reel Bonus

Newly approved affiliates are eligible for an immediate $25 bonus under the following promotional terms:

• Eligibility: You must post a high-quality video reel or TikTok showcasing Sports Gear Swag products, reviewing your experience, or showcasing your custom gear unboxing within 7 calendar days of receiving affiliate approval.
• Tagging: You must tag our official account (@SportsGearSwag) and include your unique referral code or link.
• Retention Requirement: The reel must remain publicly visible and accessible on your account for at least 120 consecutive days from the date of posting.
• Payout: Once verified by our affiliate team, the $25 bonus will be immediately credited to your affiliate earnings balance.

5. Active Affiliate Status & Posting Requirements

To remain in good standing and maintain an active coupon code, affiliates must actively promote Sports Gear Swag:

• Minimum Posting Frequency: Affiliates must share at least 1 to 2 dedicated posts, reels, or stories per month featuring Sports Gear Swag custom apparel, products, or promotional announcements.
• Content Quality: Posts must represent Sports Gear Swag positively, highlighting custom craftsmanship, product features, team experiences, or exclusive savings with your referral code.
• Account Status: Failure to meet the minimum monthly posting requirement may result in your affiliate code becoming inactive or paused.

6. 120-Day Content Longevity Requirement

Any content posted by an affiliate that tags Sports Gear Swag, features our products, or promotes your affiliate coupon code must remain publicly available on your social profile or website for a minimum of 120 days. Deleting, archiving, or hiding sponsored/affiliate content prior to the expiration of 120 days may result in forfeiture of promotional bonuses and termination from the Program.

7. Tagging, Hashtags & FTC Compliance

Affiliates are required to clearly identify their relationship with Sports Gear Swag in compliance with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines:

• Every post, reel, story, or video must clearly tag our official handle: @SportsGearSwag.
• Include official hashtags: #SportsGearSwag and #SGSAffiliate.
• Include prominent, unambiguous disclosures of sponsorship such as #ad, #sponsored, or #affiliate placed before the "more" button or audibly spoken in video formats.

8. Commission Structure & Tracking

Affiliates earn competitive commissions on qualified purchases generated through their unique coupon code or trackable referral link:

• First-Time Orders: 10% commission on the product subtotal of initial purchases made by newly referred customers.
• Repeat Orders: 5% recurring commission on all subsequent purchases made by customers linked to your affiliate profile.
• Milestone Bonus: Earn an additional $100 in SGS Rewards when you reach $1,000 in total referred sales.
• No Commission Caps: There is no limit to the total amount of commission you can earn.
• Exclusions: Commissions are calculated on the net merchandise subtotal (excluding shipping, taxes, duties, and discounts) and are not awarded for cancelled, refunded, or chargeback orders. Self-referrals (using your own affiliate code on your personal orders) are strictly prohibited.

9. Payout Schedule & Thresholds

Affiliate payouts operate under clear, reliable guidelines:

• Payout Minimum: You may request a payout once your approved commission balance reaches $100.00 or more.
• Processing Timeframe: Payout requests are reviewed and processed within 1–3 business days.
• Payment Method: Payouts are issued via physical check mailed to the verified address registered on your Affiliate Dashboard.
• Tracking: You can view all clicks, orders, commission totals, and pending requests in real time via your My Account Affiliate Dashboard.

10. Content Usage Rights & User-Generated Content (UGC)

By participating in the Program and tagging Sports Gear Swag, you grant Sports Gear Swag a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to repost, share, reproduce, adapt, and display your user-generated content (including photos, videos, reviews, and reels) across our website, marketing emails, paid advertisements, and official social media platforms. Sports Gear Swag will provide creator attribution wherever reasonably practicable.

11. Prohibited Promotion Practices

To protect brand integrity, affiliates may not engage in any of the following activities:

• Bidding on Sports Gear Swag branded keywords, trademarks, or misspellings in paid search engines (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads).
• Posting affiliate codes or links on generic coupon, discount, deal, or voucher aggregator websites (e.g., RetailMeNot, Honey, Coupert, etc.).
• Sending unsolicited bulk email ("spam") or direct messages containing affiliate links.
• Making misleading, false, or unsubstantiated claims regarding Sports Gear Swag products, delivery timelines, or pricing.
• Engaging in any offensive, defamatory, or unlawful conduct that could damage Sports Gear Swag's brand reputation.

Violation of any of these restrictions will result in immediate termination of your affiliate account and cancellation of accrued commissions.

12. Inactivity, Modification & Termination

Either party may terminate affiliate participation at any time with or without cause upon written notice. Sports Gear Swag reserves the right to modify commission rates, promotional bonuses, or program requirements at any time. Continued participation after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Accounts that remain inactive (no clicks, posts, or sales) for a period of 6 consecutive months may be deactivated and unassigned.
